Our Origin Story
Our journey began on a crisp dawn drive through the serene Amish country of Berlin, Ohio. It was here, amidst the quiet majesty of the fields and farms, that Haiku the Bunny sprang into our lives and our hearts.
As my husband Bill and I made our way to one of our favorite spots, The Boyd and Wurthmann Restaurant, a brave little bunny darted in front of our truck. In a remarkable display of courage, he kicked at our vehicle—boldly challenging a giant—then safely bounded back into the field. We were stunned. Over breakfast, still buzzing with inspiration, we began sketching out the idea of a spirited, gentle hero named Haiku the Bunny.
That’s how Bunny Foot Press was born—from a real-life spark of bravery and wonder, and a desire to share stories that celebrate those quiet moments of awe and inner strength.
